    Your post is informative. It provides an easier way to understand Linker script

    In the reference link essential-ld.txt, the section VMA and LMA, they mentioned about data that were stored in flash need to be copied to RAM at execution time. Would you mind explaining which part of code actually do this copying job? Especially in Uboot, we have to provide the copying process in source code or the compiler has already provided this capability.

    By pointing out the _text, _etext, _data symbols in the linkerscript file, your hint really gives me clue to understand the relationship between the linker file and the C file. Thank you very much, hope to see your next post soon.
